Regional Director; Public Affairs and Social Research

Melissa has over 25 years’ experience conducting and managing primary and secondary research across Africa.

She has worked on projects in the areas of governance, health, agriculture and private sector development, education, social and economic development, as well as having led projects on public opinion and political voting behaviour.

The Social and Public research role involves providing technical advice and implementation support in the area of evaluative and formative research for the TNS Social and Public teams across Africa, Middle East and Mediterranean region. Melissa also sits on the global Program Evaluation working group within TNS, where she contributes to methodological enhancements and other initiatives. She closely liaises with other members of the global evaluation group in providing TNS teams and clients in Middle East.

Melissa holds a BA Hons, Social Anthropology and Hausa from The School of Oriental and African Studies, London University.
